Society is a work-in-progress that depends on people collaborating to address issues, raise questions, and create solutions to shared problems. I see schools as a place of possibility where people can learn to "think independently together" to envision the kinds of communities we want to live in and
develop the skills necessary to make those visions reality. The classroom can serve as a space where people discover ways in which
our similarities bring us together and our differences help us
grow. Teaching is about helping students cultivate the physical, mental, and emotional potential to create meaningful lives for themselves, and to make a difference in the lives of others. My mission is simple: inspire students to be quality people and to do quality work. |
